I got my parents a game called Liebrary, a Barnes & Noble exclusive in which players compete to make up plausible first lines of books (like literary Balderdash). One might assume that a game like this would be developed and edited by literary people, but we all know what happens when one assumes…. Hamlet, according to the synopsis, “is feigned madness.” My personal favorite is the hero of a romance, who is described as “a rouge and a scoundrel.”
