I’ll bet that got your attention. Certain things get my attention too. Like the names of songs spelled out on my satellite radio screen.
And this one is classic too:
I think 7 a.m. may be too early for that.
It is a good think my kids can’t read yet.
Geez. But they can hear. I hope you turned the channel-especially away from NWA! ha ha.

The P word is just too uncomfortable for me to say. I had to have Tony read it for himself.
7 a.m. is too early for that, I agree. But here’s the real question: what were you doing listening to that music at 7 o’clock in the morning? Better yet, why were you listening to it with the kids in the car? Ha!

OK, Meghan and Trish, perhaps I need to clarify. I’m a serial channel changer. On these two occasions, there was a good song on this channel just before these two songs came on. I heard the music, thought, “Yuck, what is this?” and looked at the display. I changed the channel after I took the photo. Now does everything make sense?

As a safety professional, I feel compelled to comment about the act of taking photographs while driving, but I shall refrain from that.
I do find it amusing, however, to read the following statement from a literature/writing professor: “It is a good think my kids can’t read yet.” Disregarding the typo, it is hilarious!

I pulled over to take the photos. I don’t take pictures or text while driving. I do talk on the phone, though, but only via Bluetooth.
And thanks for pointing out the typo. I uploaded the post from my phone, which made it harder to type and proofread. I left it in so people know I make mistakes, and apologize for them.

But my point was that I found it hilarious that you would celebrate (or at least express relief from) your children’s inability to read, knowing your profession. I was actually deliberately overlooking the typo, as noted. But at least it earned me a page in your blog. I am honored.
